Step 2: Fill in layers rather than all at once. Once the edge is defined, filling the lip in a single heavy pass can overwhelm the shape you just created. Building in two thin passes instead gives you a chance to assess coverage and intensity before fully committing. The 542 Bold Lip is the right tool for filling. Step 3: Clean and sharpen the border after filling. Even with a careful edge, filling can slightly soften or shift the outer line.
